Julien de Bourg offers both ladies (36mm) and men’s watches (40mm).
However, women can wear our men’s models – and vice versa. Our models only differ in size.

Julien de Bourg only sells watches with a mechanical movement. These movements do not have a battery, but are charged by moving the watch or winding the crown. As soon as the watch is subject to a light movement, it starts to tick. This movement saves your watch’s energy. However, the watch will stop if you do not wear it for a few days. This is not a defect, but the characteristic of a mechanical watch. As soon as the watch is set back in motion when worn again, you only have to adjust the time by pulling out the crown.

If you put on your working watch in the morning and it stops at some point during the day, the following causes could have occurred. It should be emphasized that these causes are mainly caused by strong shocks and in this case are not covered by the warranty due to improper handling of the product:
Julien de Bourg uses solely mechanical watch movements which, due to the high complexity of their construction, react more intensively to environmental influences such as air pressure, temperature and humidity and can therefore exhibit an inaccuracy of approximately +/- 30 seconds per day.

Our mechanical movements have a power reserve of up to 75 hours. This means that the fully tensioned spring will completely discharge its energy within about 80 hours causing the watch to stop.
It defines the time remaining until the spring slackens. The spring is the component of your mechanical watch, whose winding – whether by hand winding or by your arm’s movement – makes the fascination of displaying the time at the wrist even possible.
Julien de Bourg guarantees that you receive a high quality product. However, the longevity of the watch depends on the care and maintenance of your watch.
Should there be anything wrong with the watch at some point, you can always contact us and we will look for a solution together.
All our models are waterproof up to 5 ATM. This means that you have no restrictions in your everyday life when wearing the watches. You can shower with it or wash your hands. However, the watch’s leather strap should not get wet, as it is a natural product and staining may occur.
The Julien de Bourg leather straps are made of genuine leather. Therefore, quality can suffer from factors such as sweat, dirt and humidity. You can use a suitable leather care product to protect your favorite watch. Repeatedly putting on and taking off the watch can reveal normal signs of wear and tear on the leather, this is not a quality defect but a natural trace of usage.
Please be aware that especially colored leather straps may loose their color during usage (e.g. sun, water, soap etc.) since they’ve been artificially colored.

The leather wristbands are natural products and can change their structure and colour due to influences such as water, sweat, soap, etc..
If you don’t like your bracelet anymore because it is worn out or the colour doesn’t match your wishes anymore, you can order a new bracelet here.

With the silicone bracelet you can not only shower with your Julien de Bourg watch but also swim and dive. However, our watches are only water resistant to 50 meters, so don’t dive too Deep.

No. To be able to deliver your watch as quickly as possible, our ordering and shipping process is automated. However, you can change your delivery address directly at our shipping partner DHL after receiving the shipping confirmation, so that you can also receive your watch comfortably at your workplace.

Our order confirmations are created in the address format of Switzerland, where the house number comes after the street name.
In some countries (France, Great Britain, USA and Japan) the house number is placed in front of the street name.

Julien de Bourg delivers all watches to your home free of charge. Furthermore, we bear all costs such as customs duties and VAT.
Your watch will of course be shipped by DHL Express. More information about delivery times can be found under Payment & Shipment.
After the goods have been handed over to our shipping partner DHL, you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail. In this confirmation you will find a tracking number with which you can check the status of your order at any time.
Please contact our customer service within 24 hours of receipt and keep the packaging. The Customer Service will contact our shipping partner DHL to initiate an investigation. Please note that this can take up to 30 days. If this inconvenience has been caused by our shipping partner, Julien de Bourg will of course either reimburse you the amount or send you the ordered item again.
Please contact our customer service within 7 days after the package has arrived according to the tracking system.
The customer service will contact the shipping partner DHL and they will look for your parcel.

It’s a pity that the watch doesn’t meet your expectations. To return the watch, please contact us and we’ll be happy to share the return address.
Please enclose an overview of the order information (printed order confirmation, invoice or packing slip as well as the filled out declaration of cancellation) so that we know who is returning the watch. If the watch is damaged on receipt, please contact the customer service.
We will refund the purchase amount within 14 days after receiving the watch in its original condition.
Please note that the bracelets are excluded from revocation.
No. Our guidelines require that the watch must be returned in the green wooden box, but not necessarily in the box in which you received it.
Please make sure that the wooden box is returned packed in such a way that it will not be damaged.
In case of a warranty service, we will of course cover the costs for the return. If you decide against the watch for other reasons, you have to pay the return shipping fees. Please note the 14 day right of return (upon receival). You can find more information about this in our Terms and Conditions and under Payment & Shipping.
Unfortunately, you can’t send your bracelet back.
For hygienic reasons and because you can see traces of use after wearing the bracelets once, we exclude the bracelets from revocation.

If your watch stops and no longer works, please contact the Customer Center.
As a first step we will try to perform a remote diagnosis. If this does not lead to the desired success, you can send us your watch and we will check it.
If it is not a warranty case, we will of course repair the watch free of charge.
However, if it is not a warranty case, we will send you a cost estimate for the repair.
